Bar Atlas was born from a simple yet transformative moment. While living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Cole Riedel had a friend visiting and they were discussing where to go for drinks that night. They struggled to find a bar that perfectly matched what they were looking for. During that call, Cole envisioned the need for an “Atlas of Bars” – a user-friendly guide to finding the perfect bar based on specific criteria.

Inspired by this idea, Cole began experimenting with the concept and soon reached out to his long-time friend Logan Borah. Logan was instantly intrigued by the idea and joined the project. Together, they dedicated themselves to building a prototype website, continuously refining and enhancing it. Their hard work and collaboration ultimately led to the creation of the website you are on now, designed to help others find their ideal bar experience effortlessly.
